Our aim at Al-waqt School is to provide first class creche and pre-school experience, which ensures the development of intellectual curiosity through explorative play and gross and fine motor skills development.
Our classrooms focus on children’s newly emerging skills built around their personal, social and emotional development, communication and language, physical development and introduction to math, literacy, expressive arts/design and understanding the world. We encourage individual skills and emerging interests in academics, creative expression, and outdoor learning.
We have space built for babies on the move with lightened space for our little crawlers and toddlers finding their walking feet looking to explore. Our creche is filled with bright colours, warm rugs, great books, and drawers filled with soft, natural and brightly coloured play materials and toys for pretend play for the development of both their cognitive, affective and psych- motive abilities while being cared for by our team of professional nannies and child minders.
Our Approach
We have adopted the use of Montessori materials and methods of instruction and are fully equipped. Our aim is to capture the child during this sensori motor intelligence and language growth stage and provide an environment conducive for early development of skills through structured play.
Al-waqt follows the British an Nigerian based early year learning curriculum while emphasizing and teaching foundational knowledge and early awareness of Arabic and the Quran through the use of effective modern technologies.

We offer an online platform easily accessible to parents to view their children’s development and assignments to allow for parents involvement in their learning.
